How Early In The Morning Can Construction Workers Start Working In The State Of Indiana?
There is a construction company building several town homes near my house. They start work at 6am–Monday thru Friday. This seems too early for me. They have their radios blasting and are using a backhoe to break up the side walk. (it is very loud) I believe that they have a right to earn a living but should have to wait until 7am. Does this seem reasonable? What is the law?

You need to look up your local noise pollution laws. Most likely, the construction workers are exempt from this, because they work outside and need to get their work done for the day before the sun beats them to death. So have a little sympathy for the construction workers, they’re just doing their job the best way they know how.

They can start at 6AM, but most of the foremen on the job sites have their workers doing quite things until 7 or 7:30. Things like layout, equipment maintenance and other less uproarious jobs. Of course your bound to have the ones who just don’t care.
